We just LOVE pallets over here at Harmony Homestead. There are so many creative things you can do with them. For instance, a base for a mattress. Here we are using one long pallet. We acquired these pallets from an apartment building. They were used to transport solar panels and then dumped next to a trash dumpster…. there were over 20 of them! This pallet bed was our first project with them. This is the base for our daughter’s new bed. This is actually a very simple project. First we measured how high we wanted to make the headboard and drew a straight line as a mark for where the saw would be cutting. Then saw, screw, sand and paint.
