The first thing to setting up a successful garden is to create a fence to keep all the garden menaces out. When we found the 23 large pallets from the apartment building, we felt like we had hit a gold mine! We were so excited as they turned out to become a fence for our Organic Garden and our sheep/bunny pen. Where we live a fence is necessary to protect all the plants from the rabbits, deer, gofers, ground squirrels and our free ranging animals.
